Exhibit at the Saluda, NC Train Depot

Asheville Citizen-Times:  Art exhibit to benefit depot

Asheville artist Richard Baker’s landscapes will be featured at an exhibition through August at Saluda’s historic depot. An opening reception from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 8 will be a fundraiser for the depot museum. A preview of historical museum items is open noon-4 p.m. Friday-Sunday throughout the summer.

Baker, formerly of Saluda, is a painter of fine art landscapes and portraits with a studio at 344 Depot St. in the Pink Dog Creative building in Asheville’s River Arts District. He will exhibit 15 of his landscapes in Saluda, with half of the proceeds from sales being donated.
